Charming Coral Lake – Wushantou Reservoir Exploration
- 8:30 AM – Meet at the Department of Aerospace Building for departure
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Explore Wushantou Reservoir and surrounding areas
- 12:00 PM – Enjoy a traditional lunch at the Local Chicken Restaurant
- 2:30 PM – Return to National Cheng Kung University or Tainan High-Speed Rail Station
Wushantou Reservoir, located in Tainan, Taiwan, is a large and historically significant reservoir with a surface area of approximately 13 square kilometers and a capacity of 154 million cubic meters. Constructed in the 1930s, it was designed by Japanese engineer Yoichi Hatta to support irrigation in the Chianan Plain, transforming it into a fertile agricultural area. Wushantou Reservoir is also known as Coral Lake due to its unique, coral-like shoreline formed by numerous peninsulas and winding inlets. Please refer to the following webpage for more information:
